Beaches

The coastline around Mononaftis and Agia Pelagia is one of the most rewarding stretches of the northern Cretan shore sheltered coves, crystal-clear water, and a relaxed pace that perfectly mirrors life at Tierras Villas.

Mononaftis Beach > right on your doorstep. A secluded pebble cove beloved for its calm, transparent water and excellent snorkelling. Sunbeds are available, and a beach bar sits just above the shore. Water shoes are recommended.

Psaromoura Beach >a short drive away. A quiet, picturesque cove with a laid-back atmosphere, sunbeds and parasols, and a friendly beach café. One of the area's hidden gems, best enjoyed on a weekday.

Ligaria Beach >a 10-minute drive. A charming small beach tucked beneath the cliffs, with tavernas serving fresh seafood right off the shore. The caves that frame the bay light up beautifully at sunset — worth staying for dinner.

Agia Pelagia Beach > the main village beach, a few minutes away. A lively bay with clear, sheltered water ideal for swimming and paddleboarding, surrounded by tavernas, cafés, and local shops.
